Dear Father,
In Is 41:10 You invite us not to fear and never be dismayed. You are my God. Further to that, you assure to strengthen me in life.
I have so much to worry about this morning. Natural disasters like floods, which are really taking lives among other devastating realities.
I have other worrying things in life. You know them, dear Father. Read my heart and understand them.
In the midst of them may I learn to trust in your strength. May I trust in your help more than ever before.
Thanks for that calmness that you give me with this prayer.
